Step into a world of real adventure.
At Salt Pump Summer Camps, kids and teens (ages 5–14) unplug, move their bodies, and step into a world of real adventure. Whether they’re topping out new climbing routes, learning to belay, navigating bouldering challenges, exploring movement on and off the wall, or heading outside for full-day climbing —campers discover just how strong, brave, and capable they really are.
But Salt Pump is more than just epic climbing days. Our mission is to help young people grow—building confidence, resilience, leadership, and teamwork through challenge, exploration, and accomplishment.

Here's what makes the magic happen:
Incredible Staff
Our instructors are skilled climbers, energized educators, and genuinely awesome humans. Every team member is trained to support campers through new skills, big feelings, and breakthrough moments.
Personal Attention
With intentionally small groups and age-specific programs, every camper is known and supported. No one fades into the background—every kid gets encouragement, connection, and coaching.
Built for Growth
We set kids up for success by preparing them mentally and physically for each challenge. Campers learn to problem-solve, trust themselves, move with purpose, and step outside their comfort zones—confidently.
All Levels Welcome
Whether it’s a camper’s first climb or their hundredth, we meet them where they are.
Preparing for Camp
We want every camper to arrive ready for a fun and successful day! Here’s what parents and caregivers can do ahead of time:
Before Camp
- Review the Camp Code of Conduct with your child.
- Complete required forms:
- Facility Waiver
- Medical Form
- Outdoor Waiver & Van Waiver (if your camper is enrolled in Indoor/Outdoor Camps)
Pack & Prep
- Send your camper with a snack, lunch, and a full water bottle to keep them fueled and hydrated.
- Campers should wear/bring: athletic attire, shoes for outside activities, and a warm layer (the gym can be chilly even when moving).
- Campers should avoid wearing skirts, skorts, dresses as they can be uncomfortable in a harness.
- Remind your child that camp days are fun, exciting, and active — they’ll be tired at the end of the day!
- Encourage your camper to be open to new experiences and try challenges they may not otherwise do.
