Youth After School Programs
***** UPDATE January 15th *****
The Maine Department of Education (DOE) has maintained the color-designation of Cumberland County to YELLOW which means that community sports are UNADVISABLE.
With participants in multiple school districts, we feel that we must play our part for the health of the youth community. At this time we keep our Afterschool & Team programs PAUSED while in the YELLOW designation.
Our processes and protocols have been thoughtfully designed to meet all CDC guidelines, while allowing for the fun and social experience that many of us crave at this moment in time. As always it is our goal to provide an engaging and growth-oriented experience while managing all present risks to the best of our ability. We will provide the next update on Friday, January 29th.
In the meantime, please feel free to inquire about Private Lessons! It's a great alternative to group programming and a great way to use any existing program credits!
2021 Youth Programs
Our team has worked incredibly hard to adapt our usual five-star kid programming to the risks and restrictions caused by the ongoing pandemic. What this means is that each class will isolate to small pods with an instructor for the duration of the program, and the children in programming will count towards the overall capacity limit we've set for the building. And as with everyone, each child will be expected to wear a mask at all times while inside our facility.
There are a limited number of spots each day, so if your little monkey is ready to get back in the gym, sign-up today. All programs meet one day per week. Check out additional details below!

Inclement Weather Policy
All Salt Pump Youth programming cancellations will be made at the discretion of Salt Pump Climbing. We will take into account many factors, including weather forecasts, local conditions and school district guidance. Please do not assume that programming is automatically cancelled if local in-school instruction has been cancelled. Parents and participants can expect an email no later than four (4) hours before the scheduled programming (ie. by noon for the regularly scheduled 4pm programming). We will send out a day-of email, as well as post to social media, if programming is to be cancelled. In the case of cancellation due to inclement weather, a free-day pass (with rentals) will be given to each participant. No refunds or make-up days will be offered. If there are any questions, please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
