Avalanche Awareness Course Registration Now Open

We are pleased to share that registration is now open for a new two part Avalanche Awareness course taught by Blake Keogh.

Part 1 will take place on Thursday March 2 from 6:30-8:30 at Salt Pump and cover how to reach advisory reports issued by NOAA and the Mt. Washington Avalanche Center, and other important back country information that should always be taken into consideration when endeavoring into the back country. $20 to participate – FREE if you book the Part 2 Day!

Part 2, taking place on Saturday March 4, will be a full day outside applying the skills. Everyone will meet at Pinkham Notch Visitors Center in New Hampshire and travel to Tuckerman Ravine for a full day of training with a focus on reading the mountain, snow travel, and snow pack. $100 to participate.
