Thank you for registering for a 2018-2019 Salt Pump After-School Program! On this page you will find detailed information about what to expect in our program, what to bring, and paperwork that needs to be filled out. Please do not hesitate to reach out with additional questions.
2018-2019 After-School Programs Information & Paperwork
Little Ninjas (ages 3-5): Wednesdays, 4:45-5:30pm (parents must remain in the building during this class).
Scramblers (grades K-2): Mondays and/or Wednesdays, 4:00-5:30pm
Mountaineers (grades 3-6): Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, 4:00-5:30pm
Climbing Club (ages 11-14): Tuesdays and/or Fridays, 4:00-6:00pm
Please complete these online forms prior to the first week of programming. All forms are required for participation.
Waiver – Everyone entering out facility must have a waiver completed; this includes climbers, spectators, and chaperones. Please fill out a waiver for yourself and your children. This form is valid until children turn 18 - no need to fill out multiple times. For adults, waivers do not expire.
Medical Form – This form asks important questions about your child’s medications, allergies, insurance, and emergency contacts. This is also a place to mention any other medical or behavioral concerns. Please fill out annually.
Facility Rules – Please review these rules with your child before the first week of programming. We will also review these rules during their program.
What to Bring
FOOD AND SNACKS. If your child is using our pick-up service or will need a snack during the program, please pack one for them. We do not allow children to purchase food or beverage without parental approval. Please send your child with a water bottle to stay hydrated.
CLOTHING AND PERSONAL ITEMS FOR INDOOR CLIMBING. A t-shirt and loose fitting/stretchy pants or shorts to climb in are best. Skirts and dresses aren’t advised, as wearing a harness can become uncomfortable.
After-School Program participants will be billed for each session they attend. Session lengths vary, as do the prices for each session. The cost of each session is determined by the number of classes offered.
Session One ~ Sept. 9 - Nov. 1 (8 weeks): $224 for 1 day/week and $352 for 2 days/week
Session Two ~ Nov. 4 - Dec. 20 (6 weeks): $168 for 1 day/week and $264 for 2 days/week
Session Three ~ Jan. 6 - Feb. 14 (6 weeks): $168 for 1 day/week and $264 for 2 days/week
Session Four ~ Feb. 24 - April 16 (8 weeks): $224 for 1 day/week and $352 for 2 days/week
Session Five ~ April 27 - June 5 (6 weeks): $168 for 1 day/week and $264 for 2 days/week
Participation includes one or two classes per week. All gear included for class.
To add a membership, please add $35 to the program cost. A membership includes full access to our facility during open hours, rental equipment, monthly guest passes, and discounts on select programs and gear.
Climbers will be granted a make-up class for personal missed days and snow days. No prorated dues will be granted for climbers absent for personal reasons.
There will be no programming on days that Scarborough Schools observe holidays or vacations. Dues will be prorated at the beginning of the session in these cases - no make-up days will be honored.
$35 membership dues will not be prorated - memberships are valid for the entire month regardless of snow-days and holidays.
After School Pick-Up
Please contact us if your school and day is not represented below and you wish to use this service. If you are already signed-up for this service, please be sure your child has permission to leave with Salt Pump staff.
Pick-ups are $10 per day - billing will occur with the following month's invoice.
Monday: Blue Point (3:15pm)
Wednesday: Pond Cove (3:00pm - does not run on early release days) & Pleasant Hill (3:15pm)
