General COVID Update: June 15th

Dear Salt Pump Community:
We’re on the cusp of the summer solstice and the forecast for the next few days couldn’t get much better… We hope everyone is finding ways to exercise, adventure, and climb responsibly outdoors. Unfortunately, we still have no information to provide as to when the state will lift the closure on indoor gyms and fitness facilities throughout Cumberland County. As soon as we know, you'll know.
In the meantime, our managers have been hard at work cleaning the facility, reorganizing traffic flow, and doing everything we can to make our facility as healthy and safe as possible when we do receive permission to re-open.
Salt Pump Kids Indoor Summer Camps will be happening, however. We radically re-organized the program to reduce numbers and ensure we maintain best practice COVID guidelines while also still providing a quality climbing experience for kids between Kindergarten and fifth grade. Please visit the summer camps page for more information and booking.
In normal times, we’d be planning our Solstice Party with all the usual fun, grilled treats, and a fresh design from Salt Pump Prints. While we can’t throw a physical party, we do have some new artwork to brighten your home and perhaps inspire your next adventure… Introducing Vertigo. The photo is by John Mallery, and design by Scott Whitehorse. Premium prints are available for sale over on Salt Pump Prints, but rest easy members — we’ll get your complimentary copies to you as soon as our doors reopen.
Thanks for your continued support and psyche! We can't wait to get back to doing what we do.
Best,
- The Salt Pump Team
