Community Update

CROP-1

Hello Salt Pump Community!

We truly miss all of your chalky smiling faces. We hope that you and your families and friends are doing as well as they can despite the uncertainty brought on by the coronavirus. We wanted to reach out with a virtual high five (from at least 6 ft away) and update you on the status of Salt Pump.

Salt Pump will unfortunately remain closed for the foreseeable future. In regards to membership dues and scheduled events this means:

-All Monthly EFT and Prepaid (1mo, 3mo, 6mo, 1yr) Memberships have been frozen as of Monday, March 16th. There is no cost to you associated with this freezing of your membership. For anyone who has a monthly EFT, you will not be charged any membership dues on April 1.

-Any members who invoiced products (chalk, snacks, retail goods, etc.) during the first half of March will be charged for these items on April 1.

-All events and programs scheduled for April have been cancelled. If you had booked an event, you should have already received or will shortly receive an email regarding rescheduling your event. Any deposits already received will be credited towards such future event.

-Approximately 40 of you have agreed to continue paying your monthly dues or otherwise agreed to contribute a different amount. You will be charged on April 1 in accordance with the amount noted on your Covid-19 Membership Change Form. These funds are being used to assist in funding our on-going overhead costs, including employee wages who we continue to pay during our closure.

-If you haven't filled out a Covid-19 Membership Change Form, please click HERE to do so. We thank you in advance if you choose to keep supporting Salt Pump by continuing your membership or purchasing pre-paid memberships or gift cards.

If you have any thoughts or questions about the information noted above or anything else, please reach out to us directly at [email protected].

We are grateful for our community. We know many are working tirelessly on the frontlines of this pandemic, whether it is in the healthcare field, in our grocery stores, delivering goods, or providing other critical services. We also know that each of you is doing what you can to “flatten the curve” and minimize the risk to others. We salute you, thank you, and look forward to seeing all of you at Salt Pump as soon as possible.

Gamba!

P.S. We, of course, miss all our doggie friends, too. Here's a pic of Tino's dog, Romie, after too many walks helping Tino burn off some energy. She too is looking forward to getting back to normal.
